It's Fall Ya'll
It's really looking like fall here at Carson-Newman. All the leaves are changing and falling on the ground... which I love because then it makes a crunchy noise when I walk to class. The weather is absolutely beautiful "Its not to hot, not to cold all you need is a light jacket"- Miss Congeniality. This week is homecoming week and the campus is decorated with pumpkins, cornhusks and ribbons. I'm excited for the football game, I get points extra credit if I take a selfie at the game for my anatomy class! I'm waiting on the results of my last anatomy exam and I take my second lab practical tomorrow. Love you guys, thank you for all your prayers.
Here is what campus looks like right now.

Birthday Love
THANK YOU all so much for the gifts and love you sent me for my birthday! I love you guys so much and you made this birthday a fantastic one! My Faith and Justice friends baked me a cake and my roommate and my friends threw me a pink piggy surprise party with a pig piñata and a pig cake, it was so adorable! I don't know how she planned it all because I had absolutely no idea.
This is the cake that my Faith and Justice friends (it was delicious)
They had me dissect the pig piñata because I'm a nursing major.

Best Drive Through Zoo
Yes drive through zoo! Rachael took me to it! It was so much fun we had so many encounters with large slobbery and quite selfish animals! I embraced the slobber and the rudeness of the cows, yak, llamas and other silly animals, Rachael on the other hand was a tad scared of them haha! AND I GOT TO RIDE A CAMEL!!!!! I took tons of pictures so here they are.
I had such fun time today I'm really enjoying Tennessee!

College!!! (The beginning)
Well I will say it has been quite an adventure just getting to where I am. The applications, the SAT, the ACT, prayer, and so much encouragement from all of you! I'm finally moved in to my dorm and have started my Faith and Justice orientation and freshmen orientation will be Friday(8/14/15). I'm excited to start classes on the 19th, a few birdys have told me that my professors are pretty cool... Buuut I guess we'll see. I'm sure they will all be wonderful people just because pretty much all of the staff here are, by going out of their way to help you succeed. I also can't wait to finally meet my roommate in person, Rachael (yes her name is Rachael like my mom) and I have been talking for quite a while now and I have a strong sense we will get along splendidly! I have already made some friends through the program I'm in, Merritt and Rebekah, I think I'll keep them. We are getting to know each other quickly and finding lots in common. My dad told me that he made some of his closest friends in college in the first few days so hopefully I have too because these two ladies and pretty great! And now ladies and gents the question I'm sure you all are wondering is what does your dorm look like... Well I will show you
This is my desk and yes those are tiny succulents on my window which I have decided to name Cleetus(left) and Glen Coocoa(right) ... I'm weird like that.... Oh hey and mom I'm sure Sebastian (my basil at home) needs water.
