College!!! (The beginning)

Well I will say it has been quite an adventure just getting to where I am. The applications, the SAT, the ACT, prayer, and so much encouragement from all of you! I'm finally moved in to my dorm and have started my Faith and Justice orientation and freshmen orientation will be Friday(8/14/15). I'm excited to start classes on the 19th, a few birdys have told me that my professors are pretty cool... Buuut I guess we'll see. I'm sure they will all be wonderful people just because pretty much all of the staff here are, by going out of their way to help you succeed. I also can't wait to finally meet my roommate in person, Rachael (yes her name is Rachael like my mom) and I have been talking for quite a while now and I have a strong sense we will get along splendidly! I have already made some friends through the program I'm in, Merritt and Rebekah, I think I'll keep them. We are getting to know each other quickly and finding lots in common. My dad told me that he made some of his closest friends in college in the first few days so hopefully I have too because these two ladies and pretty great! And now ladies and gents the question I'm sure you all are wondering is what does your dorm look like... Well I will show you
This is my desk and yes those are tiny succulents on my window which I have decided to name Cleetus(left) and Glen Coocoa(right) ... I'm weird like that.... Oh hey and mom I'm sure Sebastian (my basil at home) needs water.
This is my bed. YES I BROUGHT MY TEDDY BEAR! The walls still feel a little empty so I want to figure out something to make them a little more colorful.
And finally this my closet and my dresser. There is and outlet attached to the light above my mirror and I will just say it is almost impossible for my 5'2 self to reach. Annnnd that's pretty much it. Love you all!

  1. Glad you're mom watered Sebastian. I love that name, especially for a basil plant. :)
